Review: The Haunting in Connecticut standalone sequel 2: Ghosts of Georgia could be much worse. The film had some weird photos, some old-fashioned scares and decent acting and an appropriate atmosphere to fit the mold. I think the title should be just ghosts Georgia, because the film has nothing to do with the first movie and is not based in Connecticut, it seems obvious that the decision to take the money. This new story purposely based on real facts about the Wyrick family, and even has a TV. Reconstitution movie Haunting in Georgia, I have not seen it, but I'm interested now. Back-story on why this is a paranormal disturbance occurs is not addressed forcefully and was not effective. Story / script has some gaps and deficiencies that we keep film back and there was no real or believable.The performances were decent, but not great. Abigail Spencer plays Lisa Wyrick, mother and wife, who is struggling with a gift passed on observing and talking with the dead, his sister and daughter also seems to have a knack of guessing. Abigail is the highlight of this horror movie dull and carries most of the weight and the script, but limited his performance. Chad Michael Murray plays Andy Wyrick father and looks very bland and not just a part. Katee Sackhoff of Battlestar Galactica fame playing Lisa's sister, Joyce Wyrick, who also has the gift of seeing dead. Katee gives a live performance, but as the CHADS character was not much to their role, even if she has one of the most memorable moments of the film, which include topics needles coming out of my mouth. Emily Alyn Lind plays Heidi Wyrick daughter Lisa Wyrick, who is starting to show signs of contact with the dead. It is surprisingly safe as it plays a key role in the film. All in all, the show was OK, but his script lacked depth and charisma.Director, Tom Elkins, who is also editor of the film, and the first is, as the editor of several other horror films, sequel most notably higher than the white noise White Noise 2: The Light. Tom looks a talented editor, but as a director for the first time has some learning to do, because it looks like a horror movie that should be on ABC Family. The film had a tiny moments of creepiness and intrigue with grotesque images, but the pace was slow, clutter free is for the most part, they do not take advantage of back-story, and the case more commonplace. Senseless and unnecessary sequel that is not really a sequel.
